Customer Portal
Revofield includes a self-service portal where your customers can view their job history and invoices online — without needing to call or email your office.
Enabling Portal Access
To give a customer access to the portal:
- Open the customer's profile
- Click Send Login Link (or Invite to Portal)
- The customer receives an email with a secure login link
Portal access can also be enabled when creating or editing a customer by toggling Portal Access on.

How Customers Log In
Customers don't need to remember a password. Revofield uses magic link authentication:
- The customer visits the portal login page
- They enter their email address
- A secure login link is sent to their inbox
- Clicking the link signs them in immediately
The login link expires after 15 minutes for security. If it expires, they can request a new one.
What Customers Can See
Once logged in, customers can view:
- Job History — A list of all their past and upcoming jobs with statuses
- Invoices — View and download invoices as PDF
- Payment Status — See what's been paid and what's outstanding
Customers can only see their own data — they never see other customers, your internal notes, or team information.

Managing Portal Access
From the Customers list, you can:
- Filter by portal access to see which customers have it enabled
- Resend the login link if a customer lost theirs
- View as Client to preview exactly what the customer sees
Tips
- Enable portal access for customers who frequently ask for invoice copies or job updates — it reduces calls to your office
- The portal works on mobile browsers, so customers can check their jobs from any device
- You can generate a direct portal link to share via text message instead of email
